I want to suggest this post: it’s a little howto make conference with Google Talk. We now that we haven’t open two instances of Google Talk on desktop, now to have the conversation in conference each person needs to have 2 instances open as here. The tips is to right click the gTalk icon on your desktop and go to properties and at the end of the target line add /nomutex and click ok. Then u can follow this graph to understand how the conference takes place: the reason for this behaviour is that the 2nd instance is seen as the newest and therefore the most valid one and gTalk will try and connect to the newest instance. Give me feedback on comments: it’s good for more 3 persons?
There is another way: simply add the bot conferencebot@gmail.com to your Talk list youll be participating in one of the first gTalk conference chat rooms. Here there are the Python source code for the bot.
Voglio suggerirvi questo post: è un piccolo howto su come fare una conferenza con Google Talk. Sappiamo che non è possibile aprire più di un account di GTalk sul destop, sul post invece è spiegato un metodo che consente di aprire due instanze di Google Talk per realizzare una conferenza (l’esempio è riportato con 3 persone): basta infatti cliccare sull’iconta di gTalk sul desktop con il tasto destro ed andare su proprietà ed aggiungere alla fine della linea del link /nomutex e cliccare ok. E’ possibile poi per capire meglio come avviene il meccanismo della conferenza leggere e seguire questo grafico: la ragione per la quale è necessario aprire 2 istanze di Talk è perchè questo seguirà e considererà l’ultima istanza valida aperta, cercando così di connettersi all’ultima lanciata: inviate feedback nei commenti, funziona bene con più di 3 persone ? Un altro medoto invece è più semplice: aggiungendo il bot conferencebot@gmail.com ai contatti di Talk sarà possibile partecipare ad una conferenza creando una propria “chat rooms”.
