The conference of the ICT sector are always interesting and frequent, as Demo conference in San Diego that is a big scenario for the new techologies, companies and products. The actual edition, Demofall2006 has a live blogging and there is on Techcrunch some prominent themes of the conference: theare are new services and products as Pluggd (a speech recognition for Podcast), Pixsense (compression algorithm to compress multimedia files up to 85%), Widgetbox (that i have already talk here and here) and Jajah (old post here) that goes Mobile. In order to follow the conference there is a Media Room that as a image/video gallery and also Podcasts and the Official Demo Blog.
Le conferenze sul settore ICT sono sempre più frequenti ed interessanti, così come quella di Demo in San Diego, che da sedici anni fornisce un largo scenario sulle nuove tecnologie, le startup ed i prodotti del futuro. L’edizione attuale, Demofall2006 ha anche un live blogging con molti feed e c’è un ottimo post su Techcrunch che descrive alcuni temi della conferenza: ci sono nuovi servizi come Pluggd (un servizio di ricognizione vocale per Podcast), Pixsense (un algoritmo di compressione di file multimediali dell’85 %), Widgetbox (di cui ho già parlato qui e qui) e Jajah (ho scritto un vecchio post qui) che è diventato anche Mobile fornendo il VoIP dai dispositivi mobili. Per seguire l’incontro c’è un Media Room che contiene anche gallerie di immagini e video e Podcast ed il blog ufficiale di Demo.
